We are Krisztina and Carlos
Two people from opposite ends of the planet who somehow managed to find each other at the end of the world… literally.
Krisztina is a traveler from Hungary, a girl who collects adventures the way others collect fridge magnets. She’s a skier, a kayaker, an explorer of all things wild, and the kind of person who hears “Do you want to try this?” and says “Yes!” before she even knows what it is.
Carlos is from Ushuaia, South America—“el fin del mundo,” the last city before Antarctica. He’s a sailor, a kayaker, a glacier guide, a polar guide, a trainer, and an Antarctica expedition guide who has survived enough extreme weather to qualify as part penguin. If there’s ice involved, Carlos has probably climbed it, sailed past it, or guided someone safely over it.
The story ...
They met in Ushuaia, during a sailing trip, where between the wind, the waves, and maybe a little magic, they fell in love. From there, they traveled the world together, surviving storms, glaciers, wild journeys, and questionable airport sandwiches. Somewhere along the way, after all the chaos and beauty, they found something unexpected: home.
And that home was in Eggum, in the wild heart of Lofoten.
They opened their house first to family and friends all year round. Then friends of friends. Then the friends of those friends. And at some point, they realized:

They dreamed of offering something simple yet special—not because it’s the most luxurious or the most exclusive, but because it’s theirs. Their idea. Their way of welcoming the world with open arms.
